NOTORIOUS pedophile Bradley Pen Dragon has been charged with carrying a pocket knife after a scuffle with a city internet cafe patron.
Perth City detectives interviewed Pen Dragon, 52, on Friday and charged him by summons with possessing an article with intent to cause fear.
The charges come after a man confronted Pen Dragon at a Barrack St internet cafe after he was allegedly caught viewing child exploitation material online about 10.30pm on July 6.
The man took photographs of Pen Dragon and complained to the cafe manager about him viewing explicit material before the pair wrestled on the ground and Pen Dragon allegedly attempted to stab the man with a pocket knife.
Pen Dragon will appear in court at later date.
Meanwhile, police inquiries are continuing into the child pornography allegations.
Pen Dragon was deported to Australia in 2006 after serving 13 years in a Thai prison for sexually abusing young girls. He has also served time in WA for possessing child pornography material.
